Will a 51 front fender trim fit a 52 chevy front fender?

Did a search but can not find a answer. I have a 52 chevy 2 door sedan. I really want to use the 50 or 51 chevy front fender trim on my 52 front fenders but can not find a answer to if they would fit. Does anyone know if the fender shape/curve on the 50,51, and 52 chevys are the same? If so I would think a 51 trim would fit on the 52. Even national chevy could not answer this question for me.

Anyone know?

 

Other than the grille opening difference between 49-50 and 51-52 they're the same.

 

Are you talking about the spears that say Deluxe on them?

the front fenders will interchange on a 51-52.

 

Ok the ones I want are the thin spears that do not say deluxe on them. I have the ones that say deluxe but I don't like the way they look. So looking for something that is not as wide.

 

Of course they'll fit. All you need to do is drill the holes for the '52 trim & fill the holes for the '51 trim.

 

That's what I was thinking! I'm going to order some and see what happens.
