Hello all! I recently went to my local junk yard I figured why not take some photos!! I realize that older cars are getting rare in s**** yards as the prices of metal have gone up. I have been going to this place for over 10 years and they rarely s**** cl***ic cars or trucks. The owner has many rods and understands the importance of these pieces of history. If anyone needs any parts seen here, below is their contact information. Also unlink how allot of yards are nowadays, you can walk the yard and just look around, no telling them what you need and waiting. The old fashioned way! Enjoy! Bennett & Cohey Auto Salvage and Recycling 5639 Church Hill Road Chestertown, Maryland 21620 410-778-3462 Just saying... I am in no way affiliated with this company. I just wanted to share where there is some good cl***ics for parts for any local members. If there is something you need and are not local, feel free to let me know and I may be able to ship it to you.
looks like theres some good stuff in there for musclecar guys of which this board is not too friendly towards so i hope you have more pics of pre 64 cars to post or your wearing flame proof underwear with that being said does that gray primer 70 mustang coupe have all the window mechanisms in it? if so i could use them PM me
I understand. I know some people use items off of newer(ish) cars for their car. There are actually quite a few pre 64 cars as well as muscle cars. I just figured I would share them all. Even more.....
Thats a cool yard!!! It looks like it is right out of the early 80's. Neat you still walk around it to find your parts.
Last ones below. Not a bad find. There are alot of nice pickups. Also the Buick and Plymouth are not in bad shape at all! He will also sell any cars usually. The Plymouth just arrived there. It was pulled out of a barn recently after being there since the 80's.
For the green Impala correct? I can ask. I am sure it will be under $50.00 for me. I can pull when I go up there next time for anyone interested. You or anyone for that matter, text me @ 410-490-9340 so I can send photos and call you once I get a price to seel if you want it or not. I wouldn't wanna ask about prices on a million items only to not buy anything. It looks bad on my end. Ha.
The 54 Chevy high-centered on the dirt mound is kind of cool, in a yard art sort of way. A straight rust-free 54 pickup grill is typically worth a couple hundred bucks because they tend to rust in places and they're a one (and a half) year only item.
That poor Plymouth! It's getting crushed soon told me I am sure he would sell the hood or anything else anyone have seen in the photos including the entire Plymouth. Message me or call/text me @ 410-490-9340.
