Phoenix,.....sat? What to do?

Hey guys,....flying to Phoenix on Saturday for the Cup race. Will land at 1:15 p.m.....to dam late to go to SoCal......anybody out there got any suggestions for any Hot Rod adventures?....thanks for any ideas!

 

Pomona Swap meet is on this sunday about 5 hours away in SoCal

 

There's various car shows around town on Sat. nights. There's a pretty good sized one
at the 101 frwy & Indian Bend in Scottsdale. At the Rock & Roll McDonalds.

 

If you are on the west side of Phoenix there is big/good show at 67th Ave and Bell RD S/W corner 5 PM . I'll be there in my Corvair convert .

 

Saturday Scottsdale Pavillion is a good one till 10:00 PM and later if the weather is nice.

I'm within ear-shot of the track and will be having a few guys over to laugh and point fingers while I put a new transmission in my pick-up. It'll mostly be boring, but we will have the grill out and Tequila on standby.

What are the hours of the So-Cal deal?

 

So-Cal is from "Sunrise, til the donuts are gone" as they say.

But we're going to fire off my brothers new cannon after we get the transmission in....

Industrial ch***is, its in phoenix. the guys are bad ***, they dropped an axle right there just because i was from chicago and in town. They got some cool projects going on all the time Elpolacko is the owner and his hamb name. look them up in the phonebook

So-Cal isn't today anyway. It's always the second Saturday of the month, except March 'cause it falls on the same day as Good Guys...
