47 ford door handle swap ideas?

Hi guys new here, but i need to swap my 47 Ford Tudor for handles for some with no chrome trim piece on them, but when i search for them thats all i get. anyone know if handles from a 47 ford truck or another model that is not meant to have the outside stainless trim? also i have decided because of this site, to not use a hagan french kit for my headlight and will french my headlights with the trim ring. can i use the stock trim ring or do i need to buy a merc trim ring to pull it off? i only want them slightly recessed, not a deep frenching.

I would think with some modificarion, any handles should be able to be made to work. good luck and welcome to the hamb.

 

Thanks, TudorKieth, I found a pair of 40 handles, they have the screw mount on the side and might fit no Mod. Like you car, what did you do with that trunk, looks nice.

 

when I reassembled the body to the frame, I didn't like the fit of the trunk. seems I let the bottom of the body pinch when I was putting in the new trunk floor. So I shortened and narrowed the lid to what we have here.

 

Nice, im not that crafty in fact ill have to get alot of help with my car, but I got some ideas.
