Just wanted to say hello from New Braunfels, Tx. My uncle left me his 55 Customline a few years back and I finally got it on the road. Been driving it everywhere since.

Right now, just enjoy the hell out of it. Put miles on it and keep it on the road. I like the current level of condition so just maintenance really.

  9. Welcome from Rockmart GA, where Ozelle the '55 Ford and Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup send friendly horn honks. My '55 is a Fairlane 4 door, work in progress, my parents bought it new at Drake Motor Co. here in Rockmart GA. My father worked at the Atlanta ***embly plant from '52-'82. The third character in your car's serial number indicates the ***embly plant. A=Atlanta. If it's an Atlanta car, my father leaded the seams on it. PM me with the third character of the serial number and the production code that is on the line below the serial number, and I'll tell you which plant it was built at and the date it rolled off the line.

That is a real sweet car. Oh to have been able to start with something like that. My 55 Tudor was a very sunburnt and weathered California car. Good luck and enjoy.
    Regards

Welcome from Kansas. I grew up on Fords, and in my old age have gone over to the dark side with some help from my son. Thats my project on the left - a lot of work to do, and a lot of fun.
