Anyone install a one piece vbend windshield in theirs? I bought one and can't figure out the whole round hole square peg thing. The only way I can get it to do anything is with no seal laying down on the outside. Even with no seal I can't get it from the inside? I wasn't sure if these just use sealant like a new windshield or should it still use the original style seal?

You need a new rubber gasket that should come with the window.
And it is installed from the inside the car.
    You will need help
    Good luck

  3. you won't like it after it's in. put tthe gasket on the glass because of the steering put the left side in first. I use a couple of 2 inch wide putty knives to pry it gently past the welt on the passenger side. it's tight but the glass will flex enough to get by the A pillar. then it's just like a stock installation.
Also on most one piece installs you need to cut a couple inches of pinch weld in the center because the repops don't come to a v in the center like the factory two piece windshields

Finally got it in and love it! Believe it or not it will bend enough to get it in. I actually laid on the floor and pushed on it with my feet and it's in!

  7. Glass is consistent it will always let you know if you screw up. If you can live with the distortion , you are better than me. Probably to late now but to get the gasket to lay flat in the center you have to cut a few inches on the pinch weld
