burned to the ground

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Rock 'n Roll DaddyO, Jun 29, 2005.

  1. This happened a couple of weeks ago but I barely got around to take pix. Some low life ******* torched my buddies shop to the ground......oh not much was lost in the fire just a '61 Caddy Eldo ragtop oh and a '60 Buick ragtop, a 70 Vette roadster 454, Model A p/u, '70 Eldo Ragtop, Impala big block.........yeah there was more about 16 in all plus parts and other things.
These cars were my friends life, he loved them like he loved his kids. I hope kharma comes back and ***** slaps whoever did this.

The first thing I thought of was Hotrodladycruizr's original car. If it's not too painful for her to do so maybe she could post some before and after pics of her car. It was a beautiful car and a real shame when it got burned up.
It's a terrible thing when a cl***ic gets destroyed. If it rots under a tree it can get resurrected but burned is forever.
    Man that ****s.

  18. HOLY ****..

    I REALLY FEEL FOR HIM!!

I had a similar "near miss" when my shops roof almost colapsed. When you are like us folks the tools, cars, machines, and parts we've been collecting for the past 20 or so years are everything to us.. I tell you I was pretty emotionally shaken by my situation...

Not that we don't love our kids and family but the shop and our "art" are a whole different p***ion.. I feel you man... Sorry for the loss of all that good stuff..

    Hope insurance helps..

  19. **** man, its **** like that that makes me wanna puke. That would be my worst nightmare, I feel for your buddy amn.

The ****in lowlife perpetrator/s should be hung by their balls in public and lynched.

Can they bring back burning at the stake for such acts of heresy ??

Wow, It would be nice if you caught whoever did that and tortured them for a couple of years. But the bad thing is nothing will ever replace those cars. There is really no way to express how much that sux.

If they ever find the jerk that did that, I personally would like to get in the "kick-his-***" line.

You mentioned that he didn't have insurance on all of the cars. Did he have insurance on the shop? Sometimes building ins. covers some contents.
Also it was mentioned , how do you know it was arson? Did a fire marshal investigate?

We just lost a 130 landmark building on Main Street last month, nothing tears you apart like the loss of something in a fire. Even if the building/cars, whatever isn't yours you feel the loss. I hope some Phoenix will rise up out of those ashes.

I feel terrible for your friend, my heart goes out to the guy; I'd go ballistic if I saw my cars like that. And seeing what's left of the 60 Buick makes that **** personal now.

I hope that you string him upside down by his nutsack, the worthless s***bag.
