    Wow is this odd !
Buddy of mine just asked me last week to borrow my trailer to pick up a car Timeless is building for him, I never heard of them before .
Price he told me, seemed reasonable.
Don't know more than that untill I see it.

Try Dropped Axle Productions in Cincy Ohio. Web site attached. Very well known for hot rods.

Hi Phil! How's it going? I've never heard of the shop that you are inquiring about BUT I wanted to mention that if I were going to have a shop build a car for me I'd look into Alan Johnson shop AKA Johnson's Hot Rod Shop.

On a personal note, are you coming to visit this summer?? Friday June 1st I'm having a Hot Rod Pig Roast here at the house. Maybe you guys could make that??

Good to hear from you Denise,

Johnson's H.R. Shop is a great suggestion. Their builds are like jewelry. There are other top quality shops also, but they are out of my budget. Besides, I don't really need jewelry, I need a new driver. The old Vicky has 140,000 miles, no drop top, no air etc.

Doesn't look like I will be coming your way this summer. I'm not going on the Canadian Rodder Tour this year.

I will be at Bowling Green as always and hope to see you there.

    How's the kitchen remodel coming?

Phil... I made a deposit on a Speedline 32, Ricky's version of the Downs Dearborn Duece, in January of 2012. I picked up the body and ch***is in November of 2012 and was impressed with the build quality. If you want a Dearborn Deuce it's the only reasonable option. I'm now finishing the car putting in a 350 Chevy TPI and a 700R4. I chose a 3:70 axle ratio for the Currie/Ford rear end. I plan to put it together this spring and summer, get it running and licensed, and then tear it apart to paint it next winter.

Timeless rods , I order a 32 deuce a few years back and it took 2 yrs to build! They will promise you 3 months and give you any excuse on why it takes so long to get done. Once the car was done , it was leaking and the fit and finished was very good at all. They still owe me money on the repairs I had done! And they won't fixes what they promise! beware of them .

Timeless Rods & Customs built a 32 Ford Convertible (TRC-32-Convertible) for me. I am very happy with the fit, finish and overall quality of the car. They were very helpful in providing practical advice about how the car should be built and what parts I should use.

I think they bought all of Down's 32 Ford molds and their bodies are being built by Bebop's Gl***works.

They also build steel cars (Brookville and Dearborn Deuce) .

If you have any questions send me a pm.

I don't know anything about those guys but I have seen too many shops that take on too many projects at one time and don't seem to get any of them done in a timely manner.

Best thing though is to find a shop that builds a high percentage or all of their cars in the style you want your car done in. A guy may be the hot lick go to award winning street rod builder but when it comes to traditional hot rods he may be lost and obviously the opposite may be true.
Prices may depend more on the shops operating costs rather than completely on the quality of the build. A shop in a high profile high rent area has to charge a lot more than the shop that is in a paid for building in a lower cost area. That is unless you are paying for bragging rights for having ______ build your car.
