I've started fixing the rust on my Consul Capri but the rain won't stop, it's been raining virtually non stop for weeks now. They're saying that all this rain will avert major hurricanes which I suppose is a good thing, but it's impossible to finish a job involving welding and bare metal. Everytime I get a patch done it rains, so I have to stop working and then rust sets in almost immediately. I hate Florida sometimes.
I need cash for that, this is a good time to get a home equity loan though, it'll be my third mortgage.
Isn't the weather the officially sanctioned thing to talk about when you don't have anything to talk about? Anyway, got to run. It's so ****ing hot here in Mississippi I can't think straight.
Ship it up here man I'll take it off your hands. We build cars in snowbanks and move the rolling shells around with huskys. Mush mother****er! Nads buy a temp. garage or make one out of some construction site 2x4's and princess auto blue tarps- at least you'll be shielded from the elements a little
Hasnt rain in months it seems like in Texas. I cant remember when it rained last. Nothing but 97 degrees and full sun here!
same story here Nads, rain and more rain for weeks, we had better weather in february than we been getting this spring
Boring subject... We haven't had a drop of rain in four weeks here. Temps in the 90's. Looks like you rednecks must have changed climates with us. The dry weather makes up for this **** we had last winter.
It was not very thrilling to get off the plane from San Diego to rain rain rain. It has been raininf not only for a week straight bit more like a month. Im having a HUGE tree removed as well and the guys keep camping out in my carport between showers. Nads your welcome to come up to the shop (alone) and we can knock it out. Ive got my welder running ***s
It hasn't rained here in over a month. The corn looks like rows of pineapples. Not good. It sounds to me like you need to get one big loan and consolodate your mortgages into one payment with a low interest rate. I did mine last year, got it for 4.75%. Knocked my payment from 30 years to 15 as well and didn't raise my monthly payment hardly at all. Of course, interest rates aren't as good now. Smart finances allow me to build Hot Rods for no more than I make. Building my garage is the best money I ever spent. It has already paid for itself in my opinion. So Nads, did Warrior Soul break up or are they still around?
And to think my wife keeps wanting me to move down there. She says she is sick of the rain here, and wants to move someplace sunny. HA HA HA!
sunny? i miss sunny. i remember just a few years ago it was always sunny in june. but the winters have been a bit nicer...
Big silver tarps (the blue ones cook in about 2 weeks), some conduit to use as tent poles and some of that weld-through primer. I am ***uming that the Consul is parked on the side of your carport. It's been so humid here that even in a garage, stuff will rust overnight. I'm looking outside and we are going to get your rain in about an hour and a half, and I have a bunch of parts in the bed of my P.U.
Hey at least you guys have SHARKS!!!! I feel for ya...its been sunny here for so long I wish it would rain. I'm driving my truck so much I can't get any down time to work on it.... Get a garage you cheap *******....I like the tarp idea quick easy and cheap...
hey nads what part of florida ? hollywood here if your close maybe could help you out with some space
What do expect? Trying to repair an English car...it's gonna attract the rain to remind it of Dagenham!
I'll take your rain! My pasture is burning up, there is a permanent dust cloud over the 3 miles of dirt road before I get to pavement. My cows are going to be hungry soon, feeding them will take away my hot rod funds. Can't shoot fireworks for the 4th don't want to start a gr*** fire. Really ****s! You got too much we got none.
