It's been around for years but word was that the group that had been putting it on had got burned out and was not going to do it again. http://www.vivalasvegas.net/ It looks like the Hotel/Casino is putting it on it's self as I don't see any listing of a club or promoter involved on the website.

Nothing has really changed. The Shifters hosted the car show for years. Alex "Axle" Idzardi who was a driving force in the Shifters, is still running the VLV car show, just like he always has.

It's a great time, looking forward to it like always. The Lonely Knights will be there in force, driving lots of cars out from Colorado.

My girlfriend wants to go more than I do. I'm only 2 blocks from where they're hosting it but I didn't have a "great" time last time I went. Disneyland prices for food and drinks, trash and beer cans all over, and the fee's to get in were ridiculous, I know plenty of guys who stopped going when they were getting charged more at the gate than advertised.

Super Run, rockabilly rod reunion, weekly cruises and get togethers > vlv, in my humble opinion.

I'll probably have to go because my girl loves to get all "pin-uppy" for it.

  8. We have a gaggle headed out of Texas, down Route 66, to Viva and back to "Lonestar Roundup"

Viva Las Vegas marks its 15th anniversary this Easter weekend.

Do a search and you can find the official thread for this event. Close to 1,000 cars, 100 vendors, special front engined dragster display, Gasser display, and a prestigious Hot Rod Corral.

The Lonely Knights and Road Devils car clubs are assisting in running the car show registration. Stop by and say hello as they'll be working hard all week in preparation.

    Thanks, Axle

The wife and I went last year. TONS of fun! Burlesque Show was great fun. We're pregnant with our 1st child, and due on 3/13, so no go this year. I'm selling my 2 tickets. I posted them for sale in the classified section. If you haven't gone, you should. you won't be disappointed.
