Thanks! Yes, I have all build pictures, I'm not home this week, but when I'm back, there will be more pictures!

I start with paper patterns, and if I was lucky, I knew someone who has a original body, so thats how i've been doing!

Here is alumatruck's intro. It shows his pickup. Nice work!! What did you use to form the window openings in the doors?

    Thank's man!

Do you mean my alupickup? I have a beadroller from Lazze Metal Shaping, with the window tools, but also use a hammer and other wheels to the bedroller, I'm going to show my tools here on HAMB to!

Robin did you have to make the corners seperate? I tried a panel like that and had alot of trouble getting enough stretch in the corners.

  17. Unbelievable skills on this thread! Great work everyone.

  18. I did these fenders back in 2010 in a older post. They are trailer fenders with some accent lines bead roled into them. The owner decided on some tail lights but they didn't fit the fender. I think they are those tombstone tail lights for a motorcylce. I traced a outline of the housing onto the fenders and then raised the metal till they fit the tail lights.

Might not be the right place for it, but at the same time I can't think of a better place to ask this question...... How do I go about straightening out these dips in these door panels. Previous owner had them blasted and the guy didnt know what he was doing. I will be putting 11" patch panels on the bottom that should be nice and straight, and a 2" section that should remove 13" of the problem. Not sure how to tie them into the dips in this one though.

Here's a thread on sandblast damage. Ignore the measurement device, as the theory was off on that part, explained toward the end. Does show some different methods of repair.

As you have "dips", more than likely that is blast damage from someone doing the inside of the door and the window access holes allowed the media through to create the damage on the door skin that you see...
