Yes fellow Hambers, long before the Hamb and even before most of us owned computers with a printer, us Hot Rodders would meet and communicate in person at things called "parties", "Keggers" etc. And before Photoshop 1.1 came out, we had the long lost art of the "cut and paste" flyer. All you needed was a copy machine, scissors, glue stick, and some cool images, and there you had it! Back in the early 90's I was in a car club called the "Blacktop Bombers", we were mainly all customs, and we were friends with the other few clubs that were popping up around So-cal, one of those clubs being the Shifters. I was going through a box the other day of old car stuff, and I found this flyer that I just had to share with everyone. It kind of shows ya what a bunch of young hooligans we used to be. I don't remember if I went to this party or not, but I'm sure everyone was "hanging out" haha. Axle, Phlem, etc... Maybe you can remember exactly what year this was and let me know.
I remember the days of old ******** shows using the same flyer design methods as shown except The Fonz never exposed himself in any I can remember. Is that some of Kirk's early work???
That was the party flyer that was handed to you after you paid to get into the anti-blessing, good times.
hahaha, the Fonzie flyer is a cl***ic! I think that was actually '99 after the Anti-Blessing but we were making the same cut and paste flyers as early as '92. I've still got a bunch and will post them up soon! Thats cool you kept it after all the years Bobby!
Wow, if it was from 99' I'm shocked, it feels more like 20 years ago. Haha. I guess sometimes time flies, and sometimes it doesn't. Haha
