I have been lurking on this and other sites for some time and its high time I introduced myself. Please accept a firm handshake and hello to all. From Western Australia. Married, I am 57 yrs of age, retired and have a 1963 1/2 triple black Z code galaxie I am trying to introduce to an early model, shim/bucket cammer. Bit like pulling teeth - slow and painful but when I get my carby back from refurbishment I will have completed the last vital piece except for the headers. Have enjoyed every moment of the build - it is a great piece of elegant and rugged engineering - those Ford engineers knew what they were about. I did try and post my introduction before this post but it sort of went into the ether never to return. If it pops up in the future you know what happened - I sure don't lol. Regards Wayne
Darn it!!! How did you get my car!! Actually that car ( not yours ) is in my distant future. Welcome from the cultural center of the world, Oklahoma.
Now the man I bought it from said sort of the same thing when he drove it down to be placed in the shipping container - he really did not want the car to leave the US of A but as I told him we have stood shoulder to shoulder with you in every stoush since and including WW2 - it is more like going to a distant cousin - and he agreed hehe.
