This is sort of way off topic but what the hell is up with t-shirts with all the art work on the front? Why can't I find any cool shirts that have the art on the back and a little piece on the front. I can't wear shirts at work that show an image on the front so I get burned on getting cool Kulture shirts cause they almost all have printing on the front. Come on guys start throwing your art on the back and maybe a little logo on the front.
Let me get this straight. You can wear shirts w/ a bunch of stuff on the back, but not on the front? Wow.
I got a cheaters t-**** - no artowrk on front (totaly black,) kick *** artwork on back . . . Who did I get it from? hmmmmmm. I'll see if I can dig up the info. Cheaterpete??? not sure. I think it was from doing a search in the cl***ifieds.
Yeah Mang - contact this guy. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=928 also go to the cl***ifieds - search for "shirt" and look for a post by cheaterspete to see a picture of what it'd look like - it's pretty decent! JonnyRockets
Yeah I bought one of the Cheaters Support shirts...I am just making a general statement to all the t-shirt guys...I wore the coffee Grinder shirt to work the other day and got the ol red face look from my boss...Don't get me wrong I dig the artwork but being on the front doesn't work for me....This is just my opinion I hope nobody is taking this as an insult...it is not meant that way...
I have 2 shirts that have a small logo on the front and larger on the back I have the drag racing one in black now also. . Just have not had time to upload it yet to my site www.savagespeedgarage.com under the Merch page Aaron
I just got a NW Speed Equip. shirt from Suedesled and it has a small logo over the breast and a large one on the back.
Most of the time it's money. People don't want to pay set up and printing charges for two locations. So they just go with a front print. I've seen shirts come through the shop with just a back print and in my opinion, it looks plain silly.
I work with a printing company here in Philly. They print all the cool punk shirts with the art on the front. They print all the ugly old fart shirts with the art on the back.
I am looking for a couple of new shirts too, but need them in a fat guy's size - 3x or 4. Anyone looking through this got something neat and cool looking for a fatso???
So-cal does all there shirts in fatso sizes,.. I should know!< haha "hey what do ya call a fat chick with tiny ****ies?" A flatso, haha
I get this alot with my shirts, no one can ever really tell me why they want the design on the back, I like them on the front, so I make what I like. Pretty selfish, huh? Is it like a naughty secret to have a hot rod T-shirt on under your work shirt? Weez
Man, seems I can never find too many with junk on the front.. I wear a workshirt a lot over my t's so I like to have the designs front and center. So Cal has a lot of nice one's front and center, but I don't want to wear too much from just one place damnit! Rodderboy.com has some good ones with stuff on the back, and a small logo on front left for ya: http://www.rodderboy.com/store/index.php?cPath=1
This may seem like a dumb question but if the artwork is on the back and you have a work shirt over it......wouldn't that be the same as not having art on your shirt?
That's exactly what I was thinking too Roothawg. Maybe it's just the fact that he knows he's not wearing a plain t that makes the diff. Maybe just the knowing there's a kick*** design or logo there on his back makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Ive always liked a black shirt with the back design, logo on left chest. That way you can still wear it while you work on your car and rest your belly on your greasy core support. And for the most part, it will still look cool after youre done
From what I can recall hearing is that it was an east coast west coast thing. The cold weather on the east coast meant wearing a jacket for half the year so they put the art work on the front. the west caost was warmer year round so the put a small logo on the front and the main art work on the back. May be true, may not be true. I was a teenagar in the 60's! jerry
