Guys, Here is a thread on a car that my frien Jim is building for himself. It is a '64 Dodge Dart that has had the wheelbase altered. The rear axle is 10 inches forward of stock and the front is a Dodge A-100 axle moved forward 6 inches. The mill is a 440 V-8 with two Edelbrock carbs on the factory Cross Ram intake. The trans is a push ****on Torque Flight. Rear axle is a 8 3/4 Dodge.

If there is any interest I will take some pictures as he progresses.

    Dave

Terry, Not a Mopar guy, but let me take a stab at it. If you are talking about the factory "K" member - yes this car does have one. The front of the subframe is extended for the mounts for the springs for the front axle.

    How I do ?

First time I've ever seen spring mounts outside the sheet metal. That's a very cool Dart!

Guys, Here is the Mar 5th update on Jim's AWB Dart. He has the 440 sitting in the six banger crossmember. There is a guy on EBAY who makes mounts for a big block mill in the Dart six banger crossmember. Jim still needs to move the mill around a little bit.

    Dave ;)

Wicked!!! Always good to see more AWB projects happening. He'll need to build himself a set of fender well headers to complete the look. Love those long ram intakes.
