Paint or Powder coat Wheels

    Well I powder coated them ,red go figure.They look great on my black car, got them done for $40 a piece. will post photos[/ATTACH][/ATTACH] soon.

    My local powder coating guy just told me he has issues getting bubbles on steel smoothies at the crease where the hub meets the actual rim. Anybody ever ran into this?

    This thread was posted on 1/27 of last year. I'm sure the guy has either coated or painted his wheels by now.

    I went powder coat,...from what I've seen, it's a lot more durable than paint.

    I had my smoothies powder coated, for my F1, turned out perfect in that spot, and I'm really picky. It was expensive though.
