Awesome, I was at a yard late 80's in Limestone Maine there were 6 to 700 cars there all 40's to 50's. some 60's Everything was being cleaned up then Picked up some parts for a 47 ford sedan my dad had. i'll see if I can find old pics.
Love that '40 Ford wrecker and the '48-'50 F-1 panel truck, love them all but those would be my first picks if I could bring some home!
we didn't have much snow either this winter today's Wisconsin tropical winds are bringing 60's up I-94
Man oh man, what a bunch of interesting tin. All those Lincolns, rag tops, and rare stuff. Enjoyed looking at these poor hulks rusting away, hope some of it gets saved. ~sololobo~
I was surprised at the number of convertibles that far north, looks like the rust mites are bad there.
What's the story on the '63 300 convertible? Doesn't look like it's been outside too long; but is it terminally rusted underneath?
He got it in about 4 years ago. At that time it was very restorable. The top has since gone bad and hasn't helped it any. Could be brought back, or great parts car.
