the 60's were a crazy time for customs, I dig about 65% of those made in that decade, this custom is one of them ! back then they were just another new, or near new car so there where cars and parts to be had, no problem. today, its another story. Iam working up the nerve to build my version of a 60's style custom. someday. thanks for the pic.s David
Mick, Buck and I got to see Trendero at the 2011 GNRS. It's presently in Gold with cream interior, and has been restored. I thought of David when I saw it, and it's amazing it has survived all these years. Augie
Damn this is an old post.. As far as I know the Trendero is being restored by Dave Shutten at Galpin Auto Sports.. Dave is known for his spot on restorations like Roths Orbitron.. I was always giving those guys **** about restoring it cause it's perfect as it is..Thy plan to get it running too.. The original motor is gutted...
Heres some pictures I picked up some where on the Net. It looks brown in these Photos. I like these Pickups but this one is a too Rad. for me. I really like the "Sweet Pea"
I have a few at Mark Moriarity's place in '09' looks really gold in the '11' pics must be the lighting
hope to see how they are doing with it? and if they can get it to run then dave will be smiling down on them ( only one of his cars that did not run)... any one close to visit to update us?
