Features traditional t bucket

Thanks, that's what I thought too. Since it's original steel (for the most part) I think it will be a great little hot rod.

I won't be referring to it as a T bucket, as I usually associate that term with the fiberglass buckets.

 

That's some nice work there LarryT. The last 3 words in your post sums it all up ... "I like it". That my friend is what counts the most!

Absolutely! Very much the exception to the rule! I think the key is not stretching and changing too much. An inch the eye isn't going to pick up, four inches, yes. Like I said before, what is in the water over there that you guys per capita seem to come up with some of the coolest damn buckets put there!

 

That is absolutley awsome!!! But I gotta say, I am going to put that pict in my track roadster folder, not "T" bucket. It does remind me of Bo Bertilson's car from about ten years ago.

Good one Larry. That car spawned alot of similar cars in the early sixties. Most guys dont realize how influental it was at the time.

 

AL ways thought that car should have been called "Sweety Pie" 'cause it was in that configuration.

Thanks for the link Goober. George says they where going to run OEM rims painted the body color at first. When they picked up some plating, they asked about plating thier stock rims. The shop owner said he had a set that were nickol plated and never picked up. So the boys bought them. The same story on the pie crust cheaters. Orded and never called for. Would be cool to see that car restored or cloned even.

I know what ya mean. My daughter has been after me for years to her one. Kicked thru the "shed" a lil' bt ago. Didn't realize I have so many pieces for a build. But alas, I need to finish this one first;

On the other hand, my girl wants a T roadster- One of the stylists at her salon has "The Singapore Sling" and another girl has a fendered black Deuce 3W with chrome garnish moldings and ivory tuck n roll. Not your normal hair salon...
