Here's one of the more trick setups for 289/302, Gurney Eagle heads and intake. Pricy but "kool."

the cap is a crab cap and it does fit, and the intake is a bds.

Aahh...finally...some pictures. I am pulling the headers to repaint this weekend, and just finished painting the dog house. These were obviously taken before.

  11. The engine in the wagon is a sbf but it's a 302.

Basically all I did was clean it up and paint the valve covers and breather. HRP

I don't have any pics, but some of the old GT350R's used stamped steel valve covers with a 5-6" oil filler tube on each ... they were gold painted, I believe ... a different look.

  14. Holman-Moody still makes valve covers for em. Just sayin... ;)

You might want to check ebay as there is a guy selling a reasonable reproduction.

I agree, and I hate reproduction anything but if that's what you want it's an option.

  29. I went low buck for now, at least i thought it was going to be low buck. They want real money now for stockers. This is a 66 289 air cleaner i'm going to run. Maybe come up with something different later. But i'm kinda liking it. I'm going to run a cold air duct up the snorkel from the fresh air duct in the aprons.
