Years ago I remember seeing this flamed purple chevy in a small add in a car magazine. I was young an remember this car being "kool" to me. It still is an I wanna find it. This is the ONLY photo I could find of it. Any info would be appreciated in helping me find a piece of my past.

I found the current photo by chance looking up "flamed purple chevy" an it was the only thing I could find. I was probably 8 when I first saw the car. I do remember it had astro supremes an pinner whites. I just checked Rik Hoving massive collection of photos an even HE doesn't have one of it! I'm losing hope...

I don't know anything about it... I think I have seen photos of it in some magazine in the 1990's early 2000s... but I'm not sure.

Here is one photo of it from my own personal Collection.

After a lil more looking I found that it WAS on the cover of r&c, january 1997. I will most likely be ordering that issue....

Yep, he was/is a member of the Sultans Car Club of Long Beach...I used to see this car every Friday night at the Garden Grove main street cruise and at the Sultans picnic in Signal Hill each year...haven't seen it lately, though...

Lifting an old thread, but I just went through the box with my 90s R&C magazines and found it, January 1997 and it IS on the cover.
Sometimes my memory isn´t as bad as I think...

    Great looking car!
