Plastic sticks better to primer than bare metal...try these guys for good paint at reasonable prices www.smartshoppers.com
Hey Curbdogs, I've never been a big fan of putin' plastic filler over sealer or primer.... Ya run the risk of adhesion problems up the road, espiecally if ya over catylize the filler, against a theratical rust protuction, that you'll probably sand through workin' the plastic. PPG is a pretty good product line to go with.
You always apply filler to bare metal. If put over paint, it will only last as long as the paint/primer with hold. You can apply glazing puddy over primer. Do your filler work first. Then prime it with a self-etching primer. Apply the etch on the bare metal, not the filler. Then hit it with a good primer surfacer. After blocking a few times, hit it with sealer. J.D.
