New to the board, been snooping for awhile. I have a 53 chevy more door that I have some decent plans for after stealing all of your ideas...I was curious if any body is running the Gambino kustoms stage 2 kit with the ultra low and coil springs and if you have pictures. I am pretty undecided on whether or not I want to bag it or not. I will be ordering in the next couple weeks and its either the stage 2 or stage 4. Would appreciate the hambs feedback.

Welcome! You can check my build thread. I am running the Gambino Taildragger Kit, Notch, and the Fatman front. I went with the regular kit and dropped spindles since I wanted to keep the 235 in it (they are a pain in the ass to run with the ultra low.)

Definitely call Alex if you have questions, he is always happy to answer questions

Welcome, you will see a number of guys are using Alex's stuff (he is on here also).

do a search on the main board and see what comes up, if no luck, ask a question.

Howdy, ...Welcome! In the middle of a '53 Bel Air build just now myself, using Gambino set up in back, Fatman ultra low in front, bags all around [small block]. So far I'm pleased with my choices, and Alex is an easy guy to work with. Once you've chosen your bits'n'pieces, you'll find there's still more'n one way to go about puttin' all together. Do a search, there's already quite a few photos of the process on site if you dig around. If I knew how to post photos [gotta learn!] I'd pass mine along or post'em. Good Luck with it!

Here's one Pic I took yesterday when I picked her up. It has a really straight body, no interior, 235, 3 on the tree and a trunk full of parts. I really wanted a 2 door 53-56 but I bought it from a guy across the street from me for a decent price and the ol lady was ok with it...Not incredibly sure what direction Im gonna go with the build but I know it will be quick, low and at least half ass good looking. I have a 10k budget I am gonna try and stick to. I already have a 290 horse 350 crate motor and a th350 to throw in it. Will Post some more pics next weekend when the stovebolt and drivetraing get removed. Thanks for the welcomes. Amazing build Left Koast!
