I have been doin some transforming into g***er mode on 1:18th diecast models........just got into it and it is gettin pretty Kool.......so here are some progress pics on the 63 Nova........the front subframe and 6 cyl. was removed for the transformation.......interior is out and tach was added to dash......blower motor ready to install........all suspension and subframe done in metal.....runnin into some miniature snags with scaling the straight axle for accuracy and function....spindles, discs, etc..........the 55 truck was my first attempt to do a junkyard model....and it looks to be stripped clean......the bed became the welding trailer........the ole 55 Bel/Air was found in a field......and may undergo a complete restoration...............more to follow as the 63 G***er gets closer to 1/4 mile status........hope you like the progress.......I am having a blast foolin around in miniature but really should be workin on the real deals
