Does anybody recognize the brand of this midget based on the front bumper? <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/TW7NO_Nrgk-fFAeT9mnDMRoWfw-2s6BR7phJsRa9rrI?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9AorYxdl22k/T19WHZz88II/AAAAAAAAAJs/1nCH28MUQCg/s144/midget.png" height="98" width="144" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From March 13, 2012</td></tr></table>
Correct. The plate is the gas pedal. I've seen photos of old midgets (50's/60's) with the W on the front bumper and I just can't figure out who made them. I figured it would be a popular name like Moss, Kurtis, or someone.

West Craft? Werner little champ? wahlborg? but ive seen pictures of what i thought was a hagemann with a W on the front push bar.. Not really sure but you could look up those names and see if any of them fit here is a thread to dig thru http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=567895 there were a ton of builders..not sure if the W is significant as much as the style of the frame and body are
Yea I was going to say that I didn't have a name but I am sure it is one of the Munchkins. A while back I saw something about a race car with a W in the nerf bar. I don't remember where it was, maybe Ryan knows. I am thinking that it was one of his blogs. Wentz comes to mind but that no doubt means absolutely nothing.
Wahlborg it is. Do these have value? What would you say based on the condition as pictured in post #6? What about fully restored?
While we are at it... can you identify either of these quarter midgets? <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/rHH3Kukb1Hqy6LAUmqqZGhoWfw-2s6BR7phJsRa9rrI?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-s8Y2bCpzr7A/T2eHJvdIH8I/AAAAAAAAAKQ/7Zz40E-gGKc/s144/Gramps%2520Midget1.jpg" height="102" width="144" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From March 13, 2012</td></tr></table> <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/BN4v6FfitcZ25nli2DkB_RoWfw-2s6BR7phJsRa9rrI?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Dy6pBH2lQ68/T2eHP2xSDxI/AAAAAAAAAKk/wKQv6QDMgCM/s144/Gramps%2520Midget.JPG" height="108" width="144" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From March 13, 2012</td></tr></table>
