14s making a comeback because they ARE traditional towards the end of the hamb era. My complaint is that I can't see those wheels very good, and I think I like them. :)

They're just old beat up torque styles, and the rear tires are 15x30 Hurst pie crust drag slicks.

My 53 Buick ran a full set of them and I absolutely loved them-no problems what-so-ever!

  10. Interesting comment...

Mainly because I was thinking this same exact thing the other day!

I have noticed how the 14" wheels just don't bring much money.

My take on it is that while the traditional crowd has done a great job of recreating the past... they tend to leave some of the things in the past and "clean up" the way these cars really looked.

Mainly with wheels, tires and stance.

The front ends sit lower now... so do the back ends...

And the front wheels are narrower on these recreations.

But I like the look of your A... a lot.

The 14" wheels stocky-up the car... make it look shorter and tougher.

    Very cool.

I knew somewhere in the entire universe there had to be ONE person who didn't like Coker.......congratulations, you are that one person ! Not sure why you had to interject that into this man's thread, but, oh well.

Tires look great on your coupe, I especially like the wheels with the whitewalls.
