Hey guys, just joined the forum, Thought I'd start off by introducing myself and showing ya my cars!

My names Rich, I'm from MA. I'm only 21 (be 22 next month) but I've been into old cars as long as I can remember. My dad got me into it at a very young age. I learned to drive on a 1961 bel air with a 235 and 3 on the tree. Don't think many kids my age can say that lol!

Growing up my dad always had old cars around the house. 55 chevys, old galaxies and impalas and one of my favorits was a 68 Roadrunner that he bought when I was 2 years old and just sold a couple years ago.

During high school I drove an old beater 93 f150 but after I graduated when I was 18 and had been working a few months I bought my first "fun car". It's a 1966 Dodge Polara 2 door hardtop. It had a 383 2 bbl and a torqueflite. I think it was the first week I had it I ripped the 2 barrel off for a nice big carter afb 4 bbl and put dual exhaust in it.

Hated the chrome inserts on the trunk lid so I took em off :p

Under the hood was kinda gross lookin so I Painted the intake, valve covers and a few other little details to clean it up a little
    before and after

Still needs a lot of work (mostly body work) But I have had the seats redone, new carb and intake, dual exhaust, new tank, rebuilt the transmission, the leafs need replacing and still need to put a headliner in it and fix the quarters but after those few things she'll be good enough for me...

Next car I fell in love with was a 46 ford 4 door. I traded a winchester rifle and a few other things for it. I don't have any pictures of it on this computer, but I ended up trading that car for a 55 ford Customline 2 door sedan. When I saw American Graffitti in the 6th grade, I fell in love with 55 chevys and and from that grew an even stronger p***ion for 55-56 Fords (I usually tend to like cars even more if they are a less popular model) It has a straight 6 from a later 60's Ford truck in it now, But I'm planning on slamming in a 390 4 speed in it eventually

My dad had always been into the 58-64 x frame chevys and I always loved them too but figured I wouldnt be able to afford one for quite some time because they seem to usually be pretty expensive cars. Last December my f150 got hit by some goon who flew through a stop sign. When My insurance totaled it I used the money to buy what I would consider my all time "dream car" That I found on a local craigslist ad for a damn good deal. It's a 62 Bel Air 4 door sedan 235 powerglide. Very Solid car with the typical few spots in the lower front fenders and a couple holes in the floor but the trunk is rock solid and it runs like a champ! and The car I have always wanted!

Thats it for my Cars, I'll be posting more pics of progress and everything of course and I plan to be a regular around here. I'll get some pics of my dads cars soon (which include a 62 ford galaxie XL, a 61 Ford Fairlane and a 64 thunderbird) but I figure Ive posted more than enough for today lol. sorry for the long post. Looking forward to you guys response! Hope you enjoy the pictures of my cars. Thanks much - Rich
