i just saw big, at the gators and bought his book and had him sighn it, he looked to be doing good!! george.
I had to call the museum about another issue and I asked the lady there how Don and Pat were doing. She said Pat is home and doing well, and Don is as ornery as usual. Don, ornery? Who'd a thunk it. Sounds good though. We will probably find out more this weekend while we are all there. Don
Reporting much the same as others, Good News. I attended the GatorNationals last Friday. Big had his trailer at the race track and I asked one of the people at his trailer about Pat, they said she is doing better, was at home and went to the Drag Racing Fall of Fame banquet with Don on Wednesday night. Later in the day I saw Big at his trailer, greeting fans and signing autographs.
I wish I'd met Don when I was at the museum on a biz trip. I work fir a different company now, no more free trips to Florida.
i went to BIG'S one summer to check out the collection. but he was in texas dragracing go figure? i got to meet his mother. we chated for about an hour and she had some interesting story's that i will never forget. what a treat.i got some of her on video and 90% of the cars. PLEASE LET US THAT CANT MAKE IT THIS YEAR KNOW HOW THEY ARE..... AND LOTS OF PIC'S OF THE CARS. THANKS !!!
