Hey Guys....my neighbor down the road has a 46 Fleetline.....pretty nice car. I'm looking at it and notice a complete 216 ( I think) in the corner. Everything's there, carb (accelerator pump works)..fuel line, fuel pump, breather tube, starter, generator, water pump is frozen. Three speed trans, clutch, distributor, wires, coil...everything but the Air cleaner ***embly. My question is ..what is it worth?......I don't want to cheat him....

I've got 3 of em and can't hardly give one away. Mine are likely headed to China by way of the s**** yard. I don't think you'd be hurting him too bad at any price. They're common as dirt and every body wants a "full pressure" 235 or 261.

  3. 48 is right on the money... they aren't worth dumping any money into

$100 if you need parts.... no need to buy a splash oiler motor!!! These aren't full oil pressure motors.... so they just have to splash the oil up!

If it's a runner, it might be a different story. Some guys still run them, but most will switch out to a 235 or 261 as mentioned about for my previous statement!
    I wouldn't go over $200 if it's a runner!
