Im using a Alkyd petroleum based industrial paint for the gasser. What can I use as a safe clear top coat? Im looking at the 2 part Urethane clears.

    Thanks!

There's no reason to top coat an industrial paint.....it'll be just as tough as the clear...

LIMCO 4 (BASF) is the most compatable clear we've found. No guarantees! I'd try a small out of the way place for a test.

  5. Why don't you ask the paint supplier?
