Michigan machine shops in the "thumb"?

I live about 60 miles north of Detroit, just a few miles north of I69, east of Imlay City.

Anybody have any recommendations for a good machine shop in my area?

'70 Chevy 350 truck engine block needs the work. The usual stuff...remove the cam bearings, hot-tank, shotpeen maybe, overbore, dust the decks if needed, install new cam bearings.

I'd ask Russ Kraft up in Marlette. I'm sure he will know someone. I'm in Caro so I go to Bay City but that's probably too far for you.

Yes he has a big repair shop and is a big time car collector/restorer as well. And a real nice guy too.
