I get that annoying message that tells me I haven't posted on the HAMB for a couple weeks. So... to make that go away, here is a link to a slightly modified version of that video in my signature. It now has the correct date for the TV show in it. ;)

That should hold me until the show airs.. :D

  17. That thing look like a dog wagging it's tail !
As soon as the pass was over the phone rang and all I heard was, now don't get the henry j doing that kind of stuff. I said nope I would have probably gotten out of it...lol

Nice job on hanging with it, it started good and ended good with just enough excitement in the middle.

Honestly, It didn't feel that dramatic in the car. I was more pissed that I had to pedal it but at no time did I feel I was going to lose it.

After all... that car raised me from a baby.. It would never hurt me.. ;):D

Makes for good TV I guess..

I saw some comments on another website that some think that I was a fool for not bailing on the run and how they would not want to be in the other lane against me... Really?? This is a one time deal for TV. No one in the other lane and I know that. I have it loaded for bear and moved some ballast specifically for that run so I would be sure of the high wheelstand.

I have enough respect for my fellow racers and know when to bail on a run when it gets risky. Especially when there is someone in the other lane. I have been doing this a very long time ... that wasn't my first rodeo..

I wouldn't worry too much about that other website and comments. You never know who is typing away in there underware living at there mother's house driving there mother's car still and waiting on a dream that will never come true. Hat off! Memory making shit that is!

What did your Dad think about seeing his car on TV? I missed the show, too, thanks for posting up for us. Good job, that's the way to put on a show. I wouldn't sweat what the keyboard drag racers have to say.

I wouldn't take anything to heart that was said on YB. It can get pretty rough over there, thick skin is mandatory. I thought it was a great representation of gassers..
