s-10 rearend measurements 52 deluxe

I found a s10 rearend but it seems to be too narrow it came out of a 2wheel drive blazer.
What should the measurement be from back plate to back plate be? Mine measures about 44 inches.thanx for any advise

You need to get the rearend out of a 4X4 S10. The 2WD version is to narrow.

 

4wd rear is the perfect width for 6.70-15's on 15x6 rims. That's what is used on this car. Get a newer S-10 and you'll also get discs. If memory serves me correctly, they're about 61" from flange to flange.
