Memories of Santa Ana Drags.....a kid in awe

fog I lived close to mile square and would ride my bike there and talk to the marines that manned the crash trucks ,they would let me climb all over the trucks and show me the engine, that land is a park (centenial) now I also went to the santa ana drags with my brother that was in a car club called the outlaws ,I later reproduced one of his cars a orange 34 5 window coupe 7-11 that car is still running with a groupe of great guys called the peckerheads out of Reno . as for the blimp base there were only 2 and they are still there.
