    Anyone recognize these wheels?

    15 x 7
    5 lug, 5" bolt pattern

Looks to be a push-in center cap...

  2. No ID they look like they could very well be Fred and George from my garage. Tell them to come home its dinner time. :D

Pretty neat looking wheels, almost indy-esc. Be interested to know when someone else actually recognizes them.

I believe they are Halibrands that came on Studebakers in the early 60's.

They're called Halibrand "Touring" wheels...and yes, they were a performance option on the '64 Studebakers...

Magnesium can corrode in a vacuum, so it can corrode from the inside out. That means a wheel that looks fine can be seriously weakened. That's why the old Halibrand spoked spindle mount front wheels will not p*** tech, and why replicas have been made. Deterioration can vary a lot depending on the wheel and how it was stored. In any case, be careful if you plan to use your wheels.

Also, what's the size and bolt pattern? Do you have more than two?

You can email me at davidgrant@fastermac.net

    Thanks,
