This deserves a bump. Not many times in my life have I said that a man brought me pleasure.....but Dennis did! Growing up in the early 50's, reading my Dad's J.C. Whitney catalogs, I drooled over the ads for fender skirts, continental kits and club plaques. I thought that stuff was SO cool and dreamed of the time when I'd have a cool car and be able to order that stuff for MY car.
Fast forward 30 years. We bought an unfinished, chopped '55 Studebaker coupe. Drove it from day one. Six different colors of paint & primer, 2 pieces of Lexan taped in for a windshield and no side gl*** but it was cool. The work gradually got done and we enjoyed the car for 10 years. A few of us got together and formed a KKOA Charter club, Free State Kustoms (Maryland). I designed a club logo.... (and here's the point of all of this) and contacted Dennis and HE brought my childhood dream to life. I'll never forget the day the package arrived from him and I unwrapped the first raw aluminum casting of the logo I designed for OUR club! Teary eyed? You bet!!!

I was gonna post a happy birthday wish to you on the 14th, but figured Sue was too busy getting your warm milk and blanket to read it to you, so I thought I'd wait til the excitement wore down!

Besides the *****in stuff I've rescued some more old tooling and will have four more "new" products to offer you soon. So much for slowing down....

Naps = RIP and I'm avoiding that as long as I can.......
