any one running hydros on stock sup 55-57 chevy trucks?

    been pondering the idea my truck has stock supension other than mono leaf up front and dearched springs in the back. but i want it to sit lower than it is. will hyros work? just up and down old lowrider style. any pics of set ups ? thanks billy

    personally i like bags over hydros but yea theyll work and either way youll have to do a custom setup

    nice truck btw

    thanks i would like to run hydros for that lowrider feel/look. i have had bags before on my 55 poncho rode super nice and layed on the ground. since that pic i have put 55 poncho hub caps with bullets on them on it . looks pretty sweet. i'm sueding it copper body with off white cream color top and inside cab. billy

    Hydros on front leafs are not really going to work good, a lot of fab, did you ever think of clipping truck and using bags?

    Go to this site a guy used trailing arms from 67-72 on bags on his 51 Truck also there a lot of other trucks with 55-59 with bag running clipped front ends. Here is the link

    Also hydro would work beter with independent fronts

    hellmet i think the hydros would work but i dont know about it with the front axel you mite have to clip it for that. also do you have any pictures of your 55 poncho? i drive a 55 daily and would love to see pics of yours
