1954 chevy 150 master cylinder help need picture

tore apart master cylinder awhile back.put in rebuild kit got no resistance on pedal used a pressure bleeder got very good pressure coming out of bleeders.but pedal is very soft .guessing i got something wrong in master.but cant find any pictures anywhere.yes i know i need to get a service manual,by the way new hoses and rebuilt wheel cylinders,when i had pressure on lines i checked for leaks all that looked good any info appreciated thanks
