1950 mercury bumpsr ideas

Looking for some front and rear bumper suggestions. I like a heavy look.....any ideas? Pictures if you have them please.

 

If it's good enough for a Camaro clip, why not a Camaro bumper? Or Corvette.

 

How about Desoto? Lot of 50 Mercs use them. Definitely heavier looking than stock.

i bought a 51 & a 50 Olds bumpers & had the 51 photochopped {by Marv}onto my 49 Hudson,
& 2nd one with too much caffeine, Doc. Ruston

 

I think they're 52/53.

 

theres a pic of mine in my album with a 54 ford front bumper look pretty cool im still making up my mind......steve let me know about that hood badge i really could use that.

 

I pulled this front bumper of a 54 desoto, had to vee it slightly, I also used a 49 chev licence over rider that was not yet installed when I took this pic

I am using a merc rear bumper with a 56 olds licence over ride.

 

Ill get them out to you this week. Last week was hell for me at work.

 

That looks really nice. What kind of side mouldings are tbose?

 

The side mouldings are 53 buick.

 

my avatar has 56 cad dagmars but I changed my mind on using those.

Paul Brag is one bad *** body man! Been looking at his Mercs! Amasing talent. He is in my neck of the woods . My bosses son used to be his painter at B&B body shop in SLO. I have heard alot about him, but finally got to see his work. COOL!!!
