Help identify this tail light?

I had a pair of these last November... Finally figured out what they were and now have forgotten.

Someone was looking for a pair and I think his avatar was a black 33-4 ford coupe.

If anyone knows what it is, that's be greatly appreciated. I scoured google to no avail!

Was it a Hudson ?

 

1941 Hudson Commodore, I think that hole in the bezel is "extra"

I thought those were 39 Plymouth taillamps.
They didn't look distorted in your earlier pictures, the Plymouth lights are teardrops symmetrical and slightly more rounded than the 38-39 Ford ones.
I've never seen anything but Mopar lenses with that clear ****** sticking out of the lens at the bottom.
