You put it on your 56 Chevy 4 door hardtop with a 235. A friend of mine bought this 56 not too long ago. Had a spare Latham sitting so he decided to put it on the 235. He got it on, dialed in, and it runs great. Just thought you folks would like to see something different.
Hahahaha I've posted this before, but this is the same guy that is running a 394 with twin S.Co.T blowers and 4x2's in his 34 Ford 5 window.
We had one at the shop for around 15 yrs, 4 corvette 1bbls,went to one of the Street Rod nationals I believe it was when they held it at St Paul.Minn.My father met a friend of a friend, out there. I believe he had a red 46 ford, anyway they got to talking and Latham came up, next thing I know we're back in New York and my father is packaging it up, I think he gave it to him,but I do know it left.Never ran it on anything, I had made an adapter for a small block chevy, because it was set up for a Pontiac but that was as far as it got I think his name is **** long time ago so I'm not 100% sure, but I do know it's gone.
Please have him contact me so I can do***ent it in the Latham Registry I maintain. Serial # and number of stages also a few more pictures would be appreciated. E-mail by clicking on my name Thanks in advance-- Richard >>> Movin/on
Yes he fabricated the intake for it and also fabricated the carburetor top. He had the Latham on a Willys 4 cyl flathead that was in a 31 Ford roadster. But now he is taking the 4 cyl flathead out and is rebuilding a Pontiac flathead 8 to put in it. Like I said the guy has a love affair going on with hot rodding. His fondness is seeing if he can do the different mechanical combinations and make them perform at a higher standard.
