Hi folks. Been lurking about since June, and did the un-thinkable; posted once or twice before doing this intro thing. Sorry about that. Have always had an interest in cars back to the 60s and finally have gotten to a place & time where I can do something. Cars I've owned.. 50 Dodge 57 Dodge Coronet 58 Merc Monterey 60 Ford Starliner 67 Dodge Coronet 56 Lincoln Premiere (2x) All of those were "stock"; no mods Presently, I've got a 40 Chrysler Royal Coupe and I don't plan on anything too far out....just making a good driver out of it. Disc brakes up front (either use stock suspension with Chrys or GM rotors/calipers, or MII conversion) A 331 Chrysler hemi with a 727 or an A-518. Ford Explorer rear. Not sure if this vehicle necessarily will qualify on the HAMB as I dont anticipate chopping it. If not, I still have some ?s regarding drive-train choices and hope that I can ask without getting too much flak. Want to say how much I enjoy reading all the threads (got 50 subs so far) There is some great talent on here. And quite the range of projects. Thanks Ryan for a great site, Gatz
