can someone help me out in making this pic into a avatar... I have tried but it comes out too large and wont upload... can you also tell me how you do it? Thanks in advance... blake
dang thats a cool pic.... open the saved file that's on your computer with a photo editing program and change the siz eof the pic to where it meets the size requirements of the hamb (like 80x80 pixels). save the new resized pic. edit it your profile and browse through your computer in the the "edit avatar" menu, insert avatar, presto.
save this file then upload it. I took pic into photoshop - resized to 80 width - made the canvas 80 high - filled the blank space with dark dark red/black for a "movie letterbox" effect - and put a red outline around it. Saved as a gif file. Should be ok for size and everything.
Sweet... i tried it so many times with different pix and I was too big... I have photoshop and no go... thanks a million... like the black and red also... word blake
