Saw an old fenderless chopped A-sedan in a photo from 1952 that sat very low.I have heard alot of old timers saying they never built them low back in the day. Anybody have old photos of low sitting Hot Rods from days gone by ?
There was a pretty rough chopped and channeled Model A coupe show up at a football game on Bainbridge Island in the fall of about 1961 that caused quite a stir. I still remember it as it was one of the first real hot rods that I had ever seen in person outside of a car show or at the drags and I was a 15 year old high school freshman. No photo though and I never did find out who owned it or where it came from. But there were some low ones back then.
The only one that I always thought of was the Doctors yellow roadster done by Valley Customs with the Duvall windshield.
