Fwiw............1:6 scale CAE sprint car in cast aluminum. Prototype of a production run, still have to fab grill, steering wheel, headers and roll hoop. Grill and steering wheel are CAD designed but not started fab, will be laser cut brass sheet with soldered joints. Gotta find tires. Knockoffs are left and right-hand thread, front is flatter than rear = corner specific! Jim Grant 707-342-3190 pacific
Looks similar ..................but it's a static model only. The way it's cast, it is too heavy for a running car. My interest is in doing the detail, which a tether car has to compromise. The motor is a diecast Liberty Classics 1:6 Corvette 327 from Summit racing. Plan to do a scale Hilborn. Jim
How much and when & where can we buy one?

Where can I get one?
Gonna be at least $1200..........suggest you wait till I get the prototype finished for final details. I will keep this thread up-to-date. Am waiting on foundry to cast wheels at the momt. Have agreed to sell one bronze-cast model to my "sponsor" in neighbouring workshop. Bronze is the same patterns as aluminum. Thanks for the interest, Jim Grant
Project has come to a halt cos of the non-availability of a milling machine.. have bronze castings partly machined but THEY'RE HEAVY. 37 lbs (for upper and lower body sections combined) compared to aluminum at 17lbs. Jim
