The Headlights are from a Fiat tractor. They suit the theme I am going for with the nice shape and the front section is Allum so it will polish up Nicely. Front end has sort of got that comical look too it...
Someone asked about the dragster???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ7dYtBJo3I http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g290/benflathead/slingshot/?action=view¤t=stuff112.mp4 I got the frame for this thing off a mate. Was laying around for years since the 60's. Wont pass tech but a mate of mine has a open day and thought I would chuck it together and drive it in. Old flatty caddy with an auto I had laying around. Good fun to drive around the block every once in a wile and looks cool in the shed..
Now I gave me ol mate sparky all the info for what I was building and this is his first concept. Still need some detail to the carbs and gunna play with fading the paint but a great starting point. Oh and then he decided that a magazine cover would look the goods....
Great looking rig mate, I was a big fan of your previous T and this one looks like it'll be a winner too! The rail is absolutely killer too- aside from beefing up the cage, does it need much more for tech?
After waaaaay too much Port last night with Nashty I went out to the shed this morning and had a bit of a stuff around with the southerner in tow for some hangover induced inspiration. Hey why dont we mock up the dash................ Twin spinner grill........ Cut a foot out of the centre and stick in for dash... Couple of funky guages.. Arty..
Your coupester is awesome. The T Bucket that is inspiring your ride is one of my favorite buckets out there.
I like your styling but it seems like a waste of a coupe body to me,,,buts its your car so build it how you want to,,,,nice work,,,keep us updated...ive got a few spare coupe parts and bodies,,msg me if your chasing a trinket, ill see if i can help,,,im an old holden man and have little respect for ford products,,ive chopped my coupe ,but couldnt bring my self to coupstering it,,,well done good luck,,,
uumm WOW ! thats what you guys are doing with that extra 2 and half hours daylight saving while us Adelaidians sleep. Thats a neat concept with the 51 grille dash. Sometimes only goods things comes from over booz'un it but majority of the time it usually bad things
Fascinating build. Can you hear the air rushing out of the HAMB as everyone heads to the Fiat store for lights? Love the dash, also, but it sure looks heavy! Gary
Now we have just about got the roadster out of the shed its time to get back to my project... Started playing with diff bits..........
