CHECK OUT THE UPDATE ON THE LAST PAGE OF THIS THREAD FROM 3-15-13!!!

I have taken allot of crap for not particularily liking customs here on the board over the last couple of years. It's true, I'm much more of a hot rod guy. But my buddy Ricardo (not on the H.A.M.B. unfortunately) showed up the other day with some much needed fender trim for my Plymouth rebuild, and I just had to show his car off. This thing looks soooo damned cool going down the road or just sitting there..... Maybe this is some sort of personal break through! Please enjoy.

    Nice looking custom
Do they let you park that far from the curb out there. I'd get hit in my neighborhood if I did that.

    Hahahahaha...... :)

An epiphany of the lowered variety. Good for you. Admitting you have a problem is the first step in your rehabilitation.

Thanks Special Ed! I had hoped you would be one that responded to this. As for admitting my problem, from here I'll take that step by step, one day at a time....

Nah, that was just on a Saturday afternoon on my little early 20th century, historic street. Not much traffic on the weekends. Besides, He was just pulling out and I stopped him so I could run back in and get my camera to share these images with you guys. Nothing planned or posed.

Hmmmmnnn, you might note they look erriely similar to another '48 Plymouth's hood full of louvers too..... I don't often duplicate patterns for folks, but friends are the exception - besides, he begged a little!

Small Chev, Mustang II and no interior quite yet. It is in the works though...

  17. I love that car! It is 99% perfect. Only thing I would change are the taillights. I dig the rest of the car though!

What a cool car. As much as it looks like theres a ton more out of the back than the front of the roof. The doors still look just how they should.

The roof has a perfect flow into the ass end. The shape of the quarter windows and the taillights are not my personal favorites. Still very cool car - I hope your friend will put the beltline trim back on the car.

WHAT GREAT LINES! in my opinion, late 30's, early 40's chrysler, dodge, plymouths are so underrrated as kustom material....this only confirms my opinion...

He dropped a couple of pieces of trim for my car's repair, but also his door trim. I'm going to cut a couple of extra peices of side trim I have and extend the door peices to cover where he shaved his door handles. So yes, the side trim stays.
