I've seen alot of cool stuff this week and thought I would share a few of my photos. In case you didn't know I drive a delivery truck and carry a camera just for a hobby. I cover a big area of Kansas and often go down "the roads less traveled."
First up a retired Ford dealership garage tow truck that has been sitting outside forever and ever....
Perhaps one of the better photos I have ever taken...

Next up is sign at rural repair garage and buddy of mine who built my clown car as a teen in 1957. Thank you to my pal "Paperdog" who photoshopped the 2nd photo to make the car fly like "Flubber"

I think that is enough for now. Thanks for riding along. Each day is an adventure as you cross the bridge to the past and drive into the next old farm here on the Plains...

That tow truck is outstanding, the lines on the "bed" are perfect for the cab and front-end.

That old filling station has to be in Brookville, KS. In the movie " Up the Creek" there is a seen shot in front of that filling station with the rock chimney.

I have had cars loaded on my trailer by the previous owner of that tow truck. I always loved it even drove it once but he wouldn't sell it to me.

PF, I always look forward to going on your next trip. It is the next best thing to being there. There is so much Americana to see out there that if guys like yourself don't photograph and save them for prosperity they will just disappear, not be seen and will then be lost forever. Thank you for saving and sharing with us.

What a Great bunch of pics, it's hard to pic a favorite!
-It looks like Kansas is stuck in time, maybe somewhere in the 60's.
And man that tow truck is neat, If I owned it I wouldn't change a thing...

Thanks for the drive, your pics and stories are always entertaining as well as eye opening.
