Actually you got screwed! Fozzie was the bear who said "Ahh, a bear in his natural habitat - a Studebaker."

This YouTube clip shows how happy he was when he was driving it .....

Yeah, I don't know why but it's true; we have a Studebaker owner in the Poorboys, even call him 'Studie' - he likes to sport a newsboy cap and smokes those little tipparillo cigars all the time. ;) He recently shocked us all by announcing his engagement to a GIRL, we'd all figured he was gay. :D

That's very true - at least in my experience. I'd wanted a mid-year Vette for a lotta years, I finally got one and went to a few 'Corvette' events. For the most part Corvette guys are NOT 'car guys' they're 'Corvette guys'.

A sad ending indeed, but his Studebaker is a GT Hawk, not a Lark. Of course that doesn't change his past or present stature does it?

Kermit: Gee. A Studebaker. Where did you get it?
SamIyam: Oh, my uncle left it to me.
    Kermit: Huh, is he dead?
    SamIyam: No, he's hibernating.

Damn, what works to clean coffee off a laptop screen?

Come to think of it, just about every Lark owner/driver I have been around has been a bit of a strange duck.

Pretty sure if someone gave me that suit I'd have to boil it in lacquer thinner for an hour or so before I'd even consider touching it. Put it under a black light, it'll probably light up like a Christmas tree. Cute car tho.

  11. Ok, look at the gay Winnie the Pooh suit that your wearing WITH A SMILE. Then look at the car that got you so Giddy. Now you tell me, why are you so different? Maybe you were dropped on your head as a child? Maybe you ate too much paste in Kindergarten. Maybe your still sniffing glue?

  12. Is it just me, or does that suit just really work for you. Great, now everyone will want one and the price will shoot out of site.

I don't know. The tinfoil hat, cheap sun glasses, taser, and fringed strait jacket seem to suit him.

I guess I'm pre-qualified to be a future Studebaker owner. I've always said that I'm highly irregular

Owning a Studebaker is on my bucket list....even if I never get to drive it.

For years I've blamed it on the meds. Thanks for the direction and I'll let my doc know what the real problem came from.

This '61 Lark looks to be competing in Australian sedan series. Several Studebakers did so over the years. Road Racing a Studebaker is indeed "different".
