    Can't wait for this show.....it's about time that Hot Rodding an Traditional Hot Rods get there time on air.It is gonna take a guy like Jesse,Bob Bleed an all the guy's at A.S.S to pull a show like this off.....I never have met any of these guys an after watching the A.S.S DVD's Jesse did I look forward to see more.As for drama an Hollywood stuff.....I really don't think that there isn't a shop anywhere that doesn't have it characters an cut ups.I say put it all out there big time Discovery entertain us,show some great metal an car building skills an at the same time educate Joe public on Hot Rodding an this big fun we are all having.....look what it did for the custom bike industry.Thanks to Ryan for bringing our hobby to the front when no one else does an Thanks to Jesse,Bob an crew for putting yourselves out there for all to see........be yourself an do great work as usual an the show will be a hit!!

    I cant say that i have ever seen JJ do anything 'traditional', more rat rod shit or old body with 1800 parts......but I could be wrong, show me something!

    Anyway, the channel wants to make money, not give quality viewing to a small audience.

    Not to mention.. if it weren't for shows like Motorcycle Mania, Hard Shine, and a few episodes of Rides that highlighted traditional hot rodding, I would still be lusting after cars with big billet crap stuffed into the fenders. That was a stage or better yet a phase in my life where I was uncertain. Now I know.. Traditional hot rodding is a lifestyle that I wouldn't abandon for anything else.

    Hopefully, this show will enlighten some of the rat rodders out there to change their ways.

    There was a show on TV not too long ago and "Littleman" was in it. Something involving Jimmy Shine.:confused: While there was a bit of drama, seeing the cars, shop, tools and fabricators made it worth while. I posted some of my observations and displeasures on another website and Littleman set things straight in regards to not having much control of how things get done and what's involved in doing a TV show.

    I'll give it a chance and maybe the drama will be minimal. After all, there's not a lot of hot rodding on TV, so maybe a little drama wouldn't be so bad.

    Now here's the scary thing. If this show is completely awesome and it's appealing to us and the masses what is it gonna do for us? The hamb? Will kids be saving pennies for a traditional ride? Will the hobby explode exponentially?

    Then we can start a thread about the people who were on the hamb before discovery started airing what we love. Either way you're still gonna bitch about it...

    I wish Jesse and the rest of the fine hot rod builders, good luck with this. Hopefully, they capture the true comradeship, that is what makes a good shop like A.S.S. really work. It's a team effort in every good shop, something Jesse has voiced before when talking about the A.S.S.:D

    If all you jello heads believe what the media plants into your minds, then you are in trouble. like him or hate him the man has some great talent and has probably forgot more than most will ever know. I bet just hanging with him for a day you would learn something, maybe some neat metal trick or just a different way to scratch your ass, but you would learn! what would we learn from a day with you?

    But I also hope they shy away from that bullshit="ASS" designation" in defining its name....
    I mean if you can't even give yourself some respect, how can you expect to recieve any from anyone else?

    If there's a problem with the show, it will be the same one they have with ALL these shows. Most people (Joe Public) watch to see shit break...parts, tools, people, doesn't matter. They want to see a WRECK. Maybe Jesse and the guys at A.S.S. are TOO good for TV?

    Day after the show, the HAMB will be buzzing with threads about the "bad ass motor mounts" (or whatever) Jesse built, and the rest of the world will be saying the show was boring and nothing happened...

    We'll soon see if it's just another STUPID "obviously scripted" screaming and throwing tools fiasco, like most of the nitwit reality "car" shows......I hope the network don't FORCE Jesse into idiotic farces like MONSTER GARAGE.......come on, do we need to see a friggin' police car with a DO NUT MACHINE?? !! The ONLY Monster Garage worth watching was the episode with Winfield, Hines, and all those old school bodymen........just sayin'

    No, PEG was the puppy with three legs, the plate on the Tudor they built reads RIP PEG. She died in surgery to try and fix her bad leg.

All our rides including some very rough "rat rods" will double in value as the viewing public, in which has no idea about the hot rod life style will try to buy themselves into it. It happened in the early 2000's with choppers when Discovery put out those "chopper shows" on, everybody wanted a chopper, or at least a t-shirt of a builder they just heard of the night before on TV.

    I will watch anything about cars or bikes (yes even American Chopper and I hate those guys!) If I'm gonna watch TV I want it to be about cars, bikes, fabrication, or engineering!
    I never had a problem with Jesse on TV he seems like he calls em like he sees em! If they build traditional cars and bikes it can't be all that bad!
